Welcome to Irton House Farm Holiday Cottages
Irton House Farm compromises of six holiday cottages around a central courtyard. The cottages sleep between two and six people, ideal self catering for couples or families visiting the Lake District.
The farm is set in 240 acres of pasture and woodland and commands possibly one of the finest views found in the Northern Lake District (the panoramic images above are views from the farm). The farm sits in an elevated position with uninterupted views over Skiddaw, Bassenthwaite Lake and the North Lake District fells.
All our accommodation has been furnished throughout to a high specification. All the cottages are easily accessible with parking immediately outside your front entrance and most have a private patio. Guests are requested not to smoke in the apartments.
The friendly owners are in residence at the adjacent farmhouse. There is a games room with pool table, table tennis and snooker table and laundry facilities on site (access to these can be arranged with the owner on request). Well behaved dogs are welcome - for details please enquire when booking your holiday.
Irton House is situated close to Bassenthwaite village/lake and both Keswick and Cockermouth are a short drive away where there are plenty of activities on offer for couples or families - please visit our activities page for suggestions.
